Ballalona Bridge work

by isleofman.com 12th September 2009

Motorists are being asked to avoid the Fairy Bridge area of the New Castletown Road on Sunday.

Department of Transport workers will close the route at Ballalona Bridge to allow them to carry out work on roadside trees.

It’s part of a programme of work planned for the bend which will be carried out over the next three weeks.

Transport Minister David Anderson says after the road re-opens, there will be temporary traffic lights in place.
