Drugs case goes to higher court

Four men facing a range of drug charges have been committed for trial to the Court of General Gaol by High Bailiff Michael Moyle. 

They were 50-year-old Anthony Marion Gil, of Aigburth in Liverpool; 22-year-old Geoffrey Ronald Barber, care of David Gray House in Douglas; 21-year-old Guy James Ellison, of St Anne's Terrace, Santon; and 22-year-old Nicholas Kyle James Newton of Summerhill, Douglas.

Mr Barber, Mr Newton and Mr Ellison were all bailed, and Mr Gil was remanded in custody.

Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
