Police are hunting thieves who have stolen four children's bicycles in the Willaston area over the past few days.

The Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team says the bikes have been taken from Tynwald Road and Willaston Crescent.

They include a purple mountain bike, a blue and white BMX, a red High School Musical scooter and a silver and purple tricycle.

Officer say those behind the thefts had to enter gardens to take the bikes, and are urging people to make sure they are locked in a safe location each night.
