Broader involvement encouraged in consultation

Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne says he wants to avoid excluding anybody from the public consultation into the future of Sulby Claddagh.

This week, local publican Eddie Christian criticised the Sulby Claddagh Liaison Group, saying it failed to represent all of the users of the area.

He was joined by group member William Black, who said the group wasn't as diverse as he thought it should be.

Mr Gawne says anybody is more than welcome to put their name forward to be on the group, and there's no limit to how many members it can have:
