Groudle River fly-tipping

Police are hunting those behind a serious fly-tipping incident in the Groudle River.

Officer say various items including a table, tyres and exhausts were dumped between Wednesday and Sunday last week.

The river runs into the Clypse Reservoir, and so any contaminants could have infected the water supply for thousands of people.

Anyone with information which might help the investigation is asked to ring the police station in Onchan, on 675190.
