The trial of millionaire businessman Trevor Baines and his wife has been adjourned until tomorrow.
Today was dominated by legal arguments behind closed doors, as the court sat in private.
The trial was due to begin at 10am, but lengthy discussions between lawyers meant the public and media were only allowed into the hearing after 3pm.
Mr and Mrs Baines weren't asked to speak today, but appeared in the dock.
The court was told a jury would be selected tomorrow but the trial wouldn't proceed until next Tuesday.
Mr Baines denies money laundering and both defendants deny false accounting.
Media from the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom were warned by Acting Deemster Birkett not to publish anything which might prejudice the case.
