Head clarifies start date for new term

by isleofman.com 8th September 2009

Students at Peel Clothworkers School are being reminded that the new term starts on Wednesday this week.

Some confusion arose after children made school calendars last Christmas which showed the start of Autumn term 2009 as Tuesday, September 8, which was correct at the time.

The date was changed to the following day later in the year.

Newsletters have been sent out by the school to clarify the situation, but new head Simon Jones says he wants to make sure everybody gets the message.
