Strikes in the United Kingdom are expected to cause disruption to deliveries from the Island today (Saturday) and in the coming days, according to Isle of Man Post.
Today, mail deliveries will be affected in Plymouth, South West London, Greater Manchester and Glasgow.
Meanwhile, from Monday through to Wednesday, there will be disruption in the main distribution network which is liable to cause delivery delays across the United Kingdom.
However, contingency plans are in place to try and minimise the effects.
Isle of Man Post says it will be forwarding all mail to the affected areas as normal throughout the industrial action, but customers should expect some delays to standard mail reaching its destination.
The industrial action will not affect the Special Delivery next-day guaranteed service from the Isle of Man, as contingency plans are in place to get these items delivered as normal throughout the UK.
Isle of Man Post says its employees are not involved in the industrial action and is apologising for any knock-on effects. It is stressing the UK action is outside its control.
