Russell wins Senior ahead of two Manxmen

Michael Russell from Birmingham won the Senior Race by just over a minute as the Manx Grand Prix came to a close this afternoon.

He recorded the fastest lap of the event, at 116.110mph, on his way to a race time of one hour, 19 minutes, and 45.34 seconds.

Second and third places in the four lap race were taken by Manxmen, with Ryan Kneen and Sean Murphy duelling for the podium spots throughout the race.

Sean edged into second place by four seconds with Ryan finishing a comfortable third.
