Ulsterman Ryan Farquhar has won the Manx Grand Prix Senior Classic for the third time in a row this afternoon, breaking the lap record twice and the race record in the process.
He sat the new mark on lap three, averaging 110.984mph.
The man from Dungannon didn't have all his own way and diced with Ollie Linsdell for the lead, Linsdell breaking the lap record twice also, before getting and staying ahead on lap three.
Linsdell's challenge ended when he retired at Keppel Gate on the final circuit.
Watty Brown finished second, although he didn't realise until Chris Kinley told him in the winner's enclosure after the race: (play audio clip)
In this afternoon's other two races, run at the same time as the senior, Chris McGahan took victory in the Junior Classic ahead of Paul Coward and Dave Madsen-Mygdal, while Euan Hamilton won the Lightweight Classic with Peter Symes and Ian Ryecroft second and third respectively.
