Police hoping for chain photo breakthrough

by isleofman.com 26th August 2009

Police have released a photograph of the Douglas Mayoress’s chain as the search for the missing regalia widens.

Officers had been searching the Town Hall and interviewing council staff about the missing chain after the corporation discovered the item was missing.

But now they’ve released a picture of the chain as they appeal for information from the general public.

Sergeant Ged Power hopes the image helps someone to recognise the chain:

They say if anybody has any information about the chain’s whereabouts they should contact police headquarters on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
