Roads policing chief calls for MGP calm

The Head of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for patience and calm on the Island's roads during the Manx Grand Prix.

Appearing on Talking Heads on Manx Radio today, Inspector Power said there have been a dozen or so accidents so far, which though vehicle damage only is still too many.

And he's urging for you to take extra caution on the Mountain Road, particularly on days like today:
