IRIS - commissioners need more information

by isleofman.com 25th August 2009

Peel MHK Tim Crookall says the town’s commissioners will soon have the chance to find out more about a proposed sewage system.

The board had complained they felt the Department of Transport hadn’t consulted well enough over plans for a treatment plant near Peel Power Station.

But Mr Crookall, himself a former member of the department, says he wants to put his constituents’ interests first.

And he says the DoT has now offered to provide more information about the scheme.
