St Mary’s, Rushen and Gymns all made it two wins out of two in the Sure Mobile Premier League on Saturday.

St Mary's were 2-0 victors over FA Cup holders Old Boys at the Bowl.

A Steven Priestnal penalty opened the scoring before Martin Reilly added a second after the break.

It was the same scoreline up north as Rushen overcame battling Ramsey.

After a goalless first half, a Josh Kelly penalty broke the deadlock and Furo Davies added a second to ensure the points headed south.

There was no doubting the star of the show as Gymns also secured win number two of the campaign.

Ciaran 'Pecker' McNulty hit five as they were 6-3 home winners over Union Mills.

Luke Fisher netted the other with David Thomenny, Matty Cain and James Cannell the scorers for the Millers.

Peel were comprehensive 3-0 winners over Laxey at Douglas Road.

An own goal gave the westerners a half-time lead and Daniel Bell came off the bench with a double to seal their victory.

Reigning champions St George's bounced back from an opening day defeat with a 5-0 home win over Michael.

New signing Sam Caine (two), Callum Morrissey, James McStay and Freddie Ward did the damage.

Castletown’s return to the top flight ended in defeat as Corinthians won 3-1 at the Stadium.

Corinthians led at the break through an own goal before John Coppell doubled the visitors’ advantage.

Alex Crawley pulled one back to give Town hope and Town went close to an equaliser but youngster Lee Sum sealed the points for Corinthians.
