Trouble with travel? - OFT advice

The Office of Fair Trading says there are a few simple things you can do to protect yourself from hitting trouble with travel.

As many Island residents jet off for sunnier climes, the OFT says people should make sure they take all the necessary paperwork with them to avoid problems at airports.

And once you’re safely at your destination, don’t hesitate to complain should things go wrong as most firms have complaints procedures which need to be followed.

Trading Standards Inspector David Oldfield says people can contact the office in Lord Street in Douglas if they’re having problems.
