The Manx Grand Prix racing festival gets officially underway today (Saturday) with the start of practice sessions.
Roads around the Mountain Course will close at 6pm as competitors get ready for the first laps of the 2009 event.
First away at 6.20pm will be the newcomers, before the seniors, juniors and lightweights at 6.45pm.
Finally, it’ll be the turn of the post-classic, classics, and ultra lightweights at 7.25pm.
Roads will open no later than 9pm.
