Grand Prix week may not be as busy as TT but that doesn't mean the roads are any less dangerous.
So says Isle of Man Chief Constable Mike Langdon.
This year's road safety campaign ‘Stay Alert, Stay Alive’ is largely similar to last year's and aims to drive home the message that reckless driving can ruin lives.
Posters around the course will show actual crash scenes.
Officers will patrol those parts of the mountain where accidents are most likely.
Mr Langdon says a small number of bikers take advantage of clearer roads during the MGP.
