The A-level pass rate on the Isle of Man this year is 97 per cent, which is the same as last year.
Students in the Island's sixth forms studied in 41 subjects, taking an average of 4.1 A-levels each.
Early indications show the majority of those receiving results have been successful in securing their first choice place at university.
Even though the average UCAS points score is down, co-ordinating advisor for 11 to 19 education, Paul Craine, says the fall is only slight.
