Marshal Shortage Threat to Saturday Practice

by isleofman.com 20th August 2009

A lack of marshals could see the cancellation of Saturday's opening Manx Grand Prix practice session.

With just two days to go, the Isle of Man T.T. Marshals Association says it is some way below the required figure of just over five hundred needed around the Mountain Course.

Vice Chairman Terry Holmes admits things are not looking good:-

There is a signing-on session for marshals on Thursday evening at The George in Castletown. On Friday, the venue is the Villa Marina in Douglas. Both start at 7pm.

Or you can sign-on at the Isle of Man T.T. Marshals Association office at the back of the Grandstand between 9 o'clock and 5.30pm.
