An 18 year-old woman faces a hefty bill unless a careless driver comes forward.
It’s after her new car – a family birthday present – was damaged in Port St Mary Commissioners' car park.
The blue fiat Punto was damaged sometime between August 6 and 18 when it’s believed a larger vehicle drove into the adjoining space and collided with the Fiat, leaving large dents and scratches along the rear driver’s side.
Police say the woman is upset and disappointed the person responsible did not leave their details after hitting her car and drove away without identifying themselves.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Port Erin station on 832222 or, if you are the person responsible, do the neighbourly thing and make contact to arrange for the damage to be repaired.
