Road repairs after crane incident

by isleofman.com 14th August 2009

Roadworks will continue for much of today at the Governor's Bridge roundabout, and at the bottom of Bemahague Road.

From 9.30am until around 4pm, the Department of Transport will be carrying out repairs to the road surface, with traffic lights in place.

It was damaged on Monday afternoon when a digger fell off the back of a lorry and onto a car, from which a family of four was lucky to escape with minor injuries.

The department is apologising for any inconvenience the work may cause.
