Forestry chairman invites comments on campsite

The Government is inviting suggestions on how a campsite in the north of the Island could be improved.

A consultation has been launched to get ideas about the Sulby Claddaghs, following concern over anti-social behaviour and vandalism there.

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry hopes to make changes over the winter months, in preparation for next year's camping season.

On Talking Heads today, chairman of the Forestry Division Brenda Cannell said security staff had been employed to monitor the area, but more supervision was needed:
