Motorsport coverage boosts German visitor numbers

by isleofman.com 13th August 2009

The German cruise liner MS Delphin has been in Douglas today.

Over 400 passengers spent the day on tours, visiting attractions including Cregneash, Castle Rushen, Tynwald Hill and Laxey Wheel.

It's the fourth time the vessel has visited the Island, with television coverage of motorsport events held here making it an increasingly popular destination for German visitors.

MS Delphin was due to leave at 8pm.
