The Langness inquiry has been adjourned until the autumn.
Chairman inquiry Roy Hickey had initially hoped to conclude hearing all the evidence today (Thursday) but it will now resume on October 12.
Earlier, prominent Island businessman cast further doubt on whether public rights of way exist at Langness.
Graham Ferguson Lacey also criticised the Prowl group campaigning to have rights of way across the peninsula.
And he suggested long-serving members of the Castletown Golf Links club should give evidence as much 'anecdotal' evidence used by walkers had already been heard.
