Peer's views 'nonsense' - Bell

Criticism by a leading Liberal Democrat peer over the autonomy of crown dependencies is totally flawed.

That's the view Treasury Minister Allan Bell, after Lord Wallace said he thought the Channel Islands should lose some of their independence.

Lord Wallace said the crown dependencies' right to self govern should no longer apply because they were major financial centres.

But Mr Bell says that's nonsense:
