Work on new apartments to start soon

Douglas Borough Council has been given the green light to build a replacement apartment block alongside Hanover House on Lord Street.

Work on the second phase of the development is expected to start early in the new year and the twelve units will be built at a total cost of ?2 million.

Public Health and Housing Committee chairman Colin Cain is pleased there will be more places for people to live in the town centre:
