A family of four, including a nine-month-old baby and a four-year-old child, had a lucky escape when a digger and a trailer overturned onto the roof of their car on Bemahague Road in Onchan yesterday afternoon (Monday).
Thankfully, they and their parents only sustained minor bruises and injuries caused from flying glass and were treated at Noble's Hospital.
The road was closed to recover the vehicles and repair the road surface, resulting in heavy congestion.
If anyone has information, they should contact PC Gascoyne at Onchan station on 675190 or police headquarters on 631212.
