A ?1 million scheme to complete the final section of the Douglas outer link road is now well under way.
The work is being carried out on the upper section of Johnny Watterson's Lane and includes an upgrading of the road surface and the creation of a pedestrian walkway.
Ten weeks have been set aside for the project and the road is being completely closed to traffic to enable the Department of Transport to make the best possible use of its time on site.
