by isleofman.com 10th August 2009

Emergency services have been dealing with an accident in the Governors Hill area of Douglas.

A digger has fallen off a transporting lorry onto a passing car.

Police say there have been no injuries.

Bemahague Road has been closed between Governor's Bridge and the entrance to the Governors Hill Estate.

Access to the Mountain road is only available via Signpost Corner due to roadworks closures in Johnny Watterson's Lane.

The Governor's Bridge roundabout is expected to be closed until 8.15pm.
