Island residents could be affected by UK strikes

Isle of Man Post says it's doing all it can to get mail to the United Kingdom on time, but industrial action there may mean some delays.

In the UK, postal staff from Lincoln to Scotland are taking part in strike action, with addresses in London due to be affected on Wednesday.

The dispute has meant some difficulty delivering mail from the Island to certain regions of the UK.

But Managing Director of Mail at Isle of Man Post Malcolm McPherson says special deliveries are still getting through:
