DHSS deluged with responses

Health Minister Eddie Teare says his staff face a mammoth task sorting through responses after a public consultation on the future of health services in the Isle of Man.

The Department of Health and Social Security asked for views on the health system as costs continue to rise.

But a deluge of comments from the public, professionals and organisations means it will take a while to sift through the submissions before coming up with any proposals.

Mr Teare says he is pleased with the response:
