All views welcome as committee begins probe

The MHK chairing a select committee investigation into the collapsed bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander says it's about finding out exactly what happened.

Rushen member Juan Watterson says the committee, set up by Tynwald to look into the bank's failure, the depositors' compensation scheme and other matters, wants to hear from as many people as possible.

He is inviting the public to make submissions, which will be considered by the committee as it examines the evidence.

Mr Watterson says it's an emotive subject:
