Manx Denied by Belgium

The Isle of Man finished as runners-up at the European Under-19 Division Two Championship in Belgium.

The hosts crushed Italy by ten wickets to pip the Manx side to the title on a runs to wickets ratio.

Back at home, Ramsey retained the Tinker Cup after a thrilling final at Tromode.

The northerners hit 193 from their allotted 40 overs and bowled Castletown out for 190 off the last ball of the game.

The hero for Ramsey was Ollie Webster with a major contribution of 123:-
