by isleofman.com 8th August 2009

A three year-old Manx-bred Holstein Dairy Cow has been crowned Supreme Champion at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.

The highlight event of the Manx agricultural calendar attracted thousands over two days at Sulby.

After receiving the Deemster Johnson’s Supreme Championship Award, owner Ashley Kinvig was very proud.

First reserve went to Brian Leece’s cow and calf, while the Kermode family’s Shearling Ewe was second reserve.

The trophies were handed out by Deemster Kerruish.

Royal Manx President Barry Cowin admitted the standard was high across the board.
