A member of the House of Keys has just returned from a trip to the Falkland Islands, where he witnessed Britain's armed forces in action.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson became the first MHK to make the visit, which is organised by the Ministry of Defence in London to give MPs, members of the Scottish and Welsh assemblies and members of the House of Lords an insight into the work done by the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.

During 2009 Mr Watterson will be spending 21 days visiting RAF bases.
