Church waits to hear findings of report

by isleofman.com 7th August 2009

A series of recommendations which could have a significant bearing on the future of the Anglican Church in the Isle of Man will be released this evening.

At the time of his enthronement 14 months ago, Bishop Robert commissioned two reports, on mission and ministry in the Island.

Mission is the way the Church reaches out and relates to the community, and ministry is how it delivers its services to the people.

Manx Radio's religious affairs correspondent Judith Ley says a wide consultation has taken place (play audio file):

Judith Ley will be reporting on those recommendations on the future of the Anglican Church in the Isle of Man on this evening's Mandate PM.
