Sulby Claddaghs campsite could be given a major overhaul during the coming winter.
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is asking the public for suggestions on improvements it could make to the facility.
Ideas include reducing the size of the camping area, employing a warden for 24 hours a day and introducing a campers' permit scheme.
The public consultation will last until September 7, and any changes will be presented to the October sitting of Tynwald.
Chairman of the Forestry Division Brenda Cannell, MHK, says the campsite may have to be closed if anti-social behaviour can't be stamped out (play audio file):
Copies of the public consultation document are available at gov.im/daff or by ringing the Forestry Division on 801263.
