A man charged murder and arson has been remanded in custody by the Deputy High Bailiff.
Simon Paul Leece, of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas, is accused of murdering builder Terry Losh, who died in a fire at his home in Desmense Road on March 22.
The 34 year-old also faces charges of damaging property with intent to endanger life and arson, following incidents in Clarke Street, Peveril Street and Bucks Road.
Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, said committal papers had now been served on the defence.
Mr Leece was remanded custody until September 1.
