A prominent member of an international pressure group says he is reassured to see the marine environment around the Isle of Man returning to a more natural state.
Bernard Moffatt of the Celtic League has been commenting on data in the annual report of the Manx Government laboratory, which shows that concentrations of the radioactive pollutant Technetium, which is found in lobsters, are continuing to fall.
Mr Moffatt says the Technetium in the waters around the Island comes from the Sellafield nuclear reprocessing plant, which the Celtic League has campaigned to have closed down for many years:
