Witness appeal after car hits house

by isleofman.com 5th August 2009

A man and a woman have been questioned by police after a car careered into the front of a house in Circular Road, Douglas last night.

The vehicle, a Daewoo Leganza, first struck a Ford Kuga parked at the side of the road, before hitting the property, close to the junction with Drinkwater Street.

Police say nobody was injured and the damage to the wall of the house was relatively minor.

The Daewoo was travelling towards Peel Road when the accident happened, at about 10.45pm.

Witnesses are asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
