'Pub Landlord' Al Murray to Serve Up Local Laughs

by isleofman.com 4th August 2009

The Villa Marina has confirmed that Al Murray - 'The Pub Landlord' - will bring his Beautiful British Tour to the Isle of Man.

The Villa Marina show, on Sunday 8th November, has been organised by Stephen Palfreman of 2bg Productions.

Tickets for this unmissable one-off show go on sale at the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal from 10am on Saturday 8th August, and also via the ticket hotline (694555)), priced ?28.50.

Following the five star success of his sell-out spring UK tour, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena - Al Murray The Pub Landlord has extended time at the bar, adding new dates in autumn 2009 across the country.

The Guv’nor will once again be hitting the road to raise a glass with the beautiful British public, whilst merrily musing over a heady brew of topics, including the global financial crisis, London 2012, and his personal crusade to fix Broken Britain.

This is the last chance to see the Murray's biggest ever live show.

Al Murray is the star of the hit prime time ITV1 shows Happy Hour; a second Audience with Al Murray The Pub Landlord; and the critically acclaimed Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder.

The comedian has been described by The Daily Telegraph as "a national treasure to cherish”, while The Times comments, "The way he integrates the crowd into the show is awe-inspiring.”

The Villa Marina kindly asks patrons to note: Tickets will not be available online or at the Villa Marina. All customers will be limited to FOUR tickets.

Due to high expected levels of demand, whilst dedicated ticket hotline operators will be taking telephone bookings, the Villa Marina cannot guarantee a response to your call.

Customers are therefore encouraged to book tickets in person at the Welcome Centre. Customers are thanked in advance for their patience.
