H.M. Plant Honda has issued an update on the condition of sidecar crew Nick Crowe and Mark Cox.

The pair were involved in a high-speed crash at Ballacob on the approach to Ballaugh on the opening lap of the second Sidecar race at this year's T.T..

The families hope the move will end speculation and rumour about their conditions.

The statement confirms Nick Crowe has had the lower part of his right arm removed in one of four operations so far.

Two donor bones have been inserted into his right leg and he faces further surgery. His other fractures are healing well and he is receiving extensive physiotherapy.

Passenger Mark Cox has had two operations on his left leg and ankle. He faces more to address the leg being four inches shorter than it should be and to repair ligament damage to his left knee.

His other injuries are said to be healing well.

Nick remains in Liverpool but Mark has been transferred to a London hospital. The families are amazed at the spirit and courage they are showing, and are humbled by the continuing fund-raising efforts to help them re-establish as much as a normal life as possible.
