A funeral service is being held today for a popular sidecar driver who died while competing on the Isle of Man last month.
Forty-three year-old Phil Dongworth, one of the rising stars of the sport, was fatally injured in a crash at Ballanorris on the Billown circuit, during a practice session for the Southern 100.
The funeral will be in his home town of Worcester, and there are plans for a parade of bikes to the venue.
A number of Mr Dongworth's racing colleagues are expected to attend.
He leaves a wife and daughters, aged eleven and 19.
Coroner Michael Moyle recorded a misadventure verdict at Mr Dongworth's inquest, last week.
Venue and time of funeral: Worcerster Crematorium, 11.30am.
