A police officer is asking for more consideration to be shown towards the relatives of people who have died in distressing circumstances.
It follows postings on the locally based Manx Forums, after the body of a man was recovered from a yacht in Ramsey Harbour at the end of last month.
Sergeant Juan Clague says speculation about the circumstances surrounding such incidents is insensitive and doesn't help the officers who are trying to find out how an incident has occurred:
