Chief Minister reacts to consultation critics

by isleofman.com 1st August 2009

With the consultation period now over for proposed public sector pension reforms, the Chief Minister has been speaking to Manx Radio.

Tony Brown says it's now a case of waiting to see what the feedback, which has been gathered over the last six months, is like.

The British Medical Association has said the proposals are already discouraging staff from joining the Island's health service but Mr Brown doesn't think that's the case.

Speaking to John Moss, he rejected the claims of unions that they haven't been consulted properly.
