How to spot a rogue trader

Police are warning Island residents to beware of rogue tradesmen, following a number of complaints.

People claiming to be builders have been targeting the elderly and vulnerable.

They use bullying tactics, carry out very poor and shoddy work and charge excessive amounts of money.

Detective Constable Kathryn Giles says there are ways to spot a rogue trader:
