The Conservative Party in the United Kingdom has made another IT gaffe, forwarding internal party emails to Manx Radio.
The conversation between a prospective parliamentary candidate, a Tory activist and the party’s Director of IT, arrived at Manx Radio late last night.
Although the email doesn’t contain any personal information, it's the second time the party has mistakenly sent emails to the station.
In May last year, the party sent a list of 8,000 voters to Manx Radio during the Crewe and Nantwich by-election.
The latest email is a conversation between Jason Hadden, Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate for Croydon North, Tory Director of IT Anne Nunan and Conservative activist John Moss.
Although it doesn’t reveal any sensitive information, there will be red faces at Conservative HQ.
The party held an internal investigation after the first incident which discovered it was due to human error and said it would hold an internal inquiry to ensure it didn’t happen again.
