Floating pipeline warning

by isleofman.com 30th July 2009

Boat users in the south of the Island are being advised that a floating pipeline has been established from the promontory under construction at Isle of Man Airport.

The Department of Transport says the seaward end of the pipeline is anchored in position about 200 metres south east of the south eastern corner of the runway extension.

Three fixed white lights have been fitted to it to mark its location.

It will be in place until the end of August.
