Island not affected by UK strikes

The Isle of Man seems to be avoiding disruption to mail services as a result of postal strikes in the United Kingdom.

The industrial action is in London and centres around pay and job cuts.

Staff are holding several days of strikes until Saturday, but Isle of Man Post spokesman Malcolm Macpherson says so far the Island has been largely unaffected:
