A local sunbed hire business says it's confident a new report linking the tanning equipment with cancer won't damage its trade.
Paul Stephenson of Douglas-based Home Tan Sunbeds says it's safe as long as it's properly used.
He says his company makes sure everybody knows how to use the sunbeds, and he won't hire them out to teenagers.
Mr Stephenson says the report to the World Health Organisation isn't a surprise as there have been a number of similar scares in the past:
